Setting up NAT on a Cisco router running IOS
Problem:
Setting up a NAT solution on a Cisco router can be a complex affair, especially "reverse" NAT in which external hosts can reach internal hosts via a public IP address.

Solution:
We have published an example configuration which can be found here: http://home.atc.no/~floyd/ios/nat-example.txt

It shows a real-life configuration with both in- and outbound NAT using IP address pools. Note that this setup requires IOS version 11.3-7 or greater, or the NAT will fail after a few hours.
