Executable/script files not allowed, please resend using zip
Problem:
When attempting to send attachments through an ATC mail server, a bounce message is returned saying "Executable/script files not allowed, please resend using zip".
 
Solution:
This filter is in place to protect ATC members and customers from virus and other malicious attacks through email.

If you need to send an executable, use winzip or a similar utility to compress the file before re-sending it. This will prevent the receiver from accidentally running a script or executable by mistake.
