I updated my quarantine-attachements.txt but nothing changed
Problem:
After I had installed scan4virus on my qmail installation and tests were ok, I tried make sure *.exe files and *.vbs files were stopped and returned to sender. I found a file under /var/qmail/qmailscan/quarantine-attachements.txt which gave a good description on how to add things to block, but it was ignored.
 
Solution:
Run the command

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g

and to see a list of things to block:

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -r
