Getting NetMeeting to work through a firewall
Problem: Being of Microsoft heritage, this beast is very very demanding on firewalls. Multiple ports need to be open for incoming traffic, but determining just which ones can be a pain in the neck.
Solution: For outbound calls: TCP: 389, 522, 1503, 1720, 1731 both directions UDP: 1024-65535 For inbound calls: TCP: 389, 522, 1024-65535 (sigh) UDP: 1024-65535 More details can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/ARTICLES/Q158/6/23.asp
