Numeric Keyboard is not functional under Citrix Metaframe 1.8 for NT 4 Terminal
Problem:
Numeric keyboard is not functioning in Citrix Metaframe 1.8 NT 4 Windows Terminal server. Latest servicepacks & hotfixes are installed for both Nt4 trmsrv & Metaframe. The system repsonds to numlock (eg. accessibility thing, mouse-keys (in control panel)), but it will never function as a numeric keypad.
 
Solution:
This one was a bit tricky. It seems that what causes this was the keyboard-cable-extender. When I removed the extender and rebooted all works fine.

Since this is VERY hardware specific, this is what brand of machine that had this problem:
Compaq Portable, Armada series. Only when used with external keyboard and cable-extender.
