Register MSTSC.EXE to handle RDP URL in Windows
Problem:
Did you ever want to create a link to a Windows Remote Desktop on a web page? Something like rdp://10.0.0.2 would seem like an obvious thing for Windows to handle, yes? Unfortunately, this is surprisingly hard to do, even with the FTYPE and ASSOC commands in Vista and Windows 7.

Solution:
The following hack should work with Windows XP and newer:

http://floyd.atc.no/rdp.zip [1530 bytes]

The zip archive contains a registry fix, a small batch file wrapper for MSTSC.EXE and a README file explaining how the hack works.
