BackupExec 10d: How to transfer license information
Problem:
When installing a replacement BackupExec server, how can I transfer the license information? I have lost all my original license keys and can't find them anywhere in the GUI.
 
Solution:
In your system root directory (Normally C:\WINDOWS\ or C:\WINNT) find the file "besernum.xml"

This file can be dropped into place as it is, or imported to merge with other license information on a fresh installation.
