Windows: How to delete SecuROM files with corrupt names
Problem:
In an appalling display of disrespect for honest customers, game publishers have been using a version of SecuROM which intentionally creates and maintains files with corrupt names in the user profile. These files can not be deleted by any means available to a regular Windows user. Worse, a profile infected with these files can not be copied or deleted by any means available to a regular Windows administrator. ScanDisk does not seem to notice the problem. So how do I get rid of these files??

Solution:
Download DelInvFile
"http://www.purgeie.com/delinv.htm"

As the name suggests, this is a utility for Deleting Invisible Files and it solves exactly this kind of problem.
