FreeBSD: Ethernet interface names
Problem:
Linux uses eth0, eth1 etc. for ethernet devices. What are the corresponding names in FreeBSD?
 
Solution:
Gigabit Ethernet (1000baseT): em0, em1 etc.
Fast Ethernet (100baseT): fxp0, fxp1 etc.
Ethernet (10baseT): dc0, dc1 etc.
Loopback: lo0
