Where do AMANDA clients store their log files?
Problem:
When debugging AMANDA clients, the logfiles can reveal the cause of most problems. The only problem is... where to find them?
 
Solution:
Look in /tmp/amanda

There is one logfile for each request, and one logfile for each command run by amandad. The logfiles are named as follows:

command.YYYYMMDDhhmmss.debug
