JetDirect printer won't attach to Netware NDS print queue
Problem:
When setting up an older JetDirect card/adapter to pull print jobs off a Netware 4.x (or newer) print queue, the printer will sometimes refuse to connect to the queue server even though everything seems to be in order.

Solution:
Make sure the Netware server(s) serving the print queues have bindery emulation enabled. Also make sure the NDS context where the print queue object resides is listed as a bindery context.

Using HP JetAdmin, rightclick on the printer object and choose "Modify". Under "queue", specify the bindery printqueue object listed under the server, rather than the NDS printqueue object under the tree/context.

This problem usually occurs with older JetDirect cards that do not (properly) support NDS.
