WLAN access point DWL-900AP+ won't communicate with LAN
Problem:
A D-Link DWL-900AP+ WLAN access point is connected to a switch port via a Cat-5 cable with "Power via Ethernet". The link indicator shows a working 10 Mbit connection, and traffic is indicated, but the devices are unable to communicate.
 
Solution:
The "Power via Ethernet" in combination with the 900AP+ seems to disrupt link signalling/auto-negotiation with most switches.

Placed a hub between the two devices, and everything worked.
