Norman Virus Control 5, NJeeves service fails
Problem: The "N" icon in the systray shows a red warning symbol. Upon inspection, the NJeeves service is not running. The problem disappears if Windows is rebooted, but the problem re-appears after a short while.
Solution: NJeeves is the process that controls the internal messaging system in NVC and is not critical for detection and removal to work. To fix the problem, run "`\Norman\Nvc\Bin\Delnvc5.exe`" and choose "`Repair`".
