How to add/change domain in Windows 2000
Problem:
The process of adding a Windows 2000 computer to a domain is slightly different than the NT and 9x series.
 
Solution:
Right-click on "My Computer"
Click "Properties"
Click the "Network Identification" tab
Click "Properties"
Select "Domain" or "Workgroup" as needed, then type the name in the corresponding box
Click "OK"
